My research focuses on oral health inequalities, behavioural and social epidemiology, and population health. My PhD in Dental Public Health at King’s College London used longitudinal data from the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA) to investigate relationships between social and socioeconomic factors, health-related behaviours, tooth loss and oral-health-related quality of life in older adults. My research uses quantitative epidemiological methods, including longitudinal analysis, multivariable regression, latent class analysis and structural equation modelling. I am interested in developing further research on oral health inequalities, healthy ageing, routinely collected health data and policy-relevant population health research.

I am interested in connecting with researchers working in oral health inequalities, behavioural and social epidemiology, healthy ageing and population health. I would also welcome mentorship and advice on postdoctoral fellowship opportunities and developing an independent research programme in these areas.
