“Novel antimicrobial and osteogenic calcium phosphates for the prevention and treatment of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ)”. Funded by EPSRC this award will comprehensively evaluate novel nano-materials using state-of-the-art tissue culture systems that mimic the physiological environment of MRONJ. The project will move the technology from the lab toward clinical application, aiming to provide a site-specific, multi-functional medical device for patients.
